I've been a photographer for a little over four years now (I started in January of 2020!) and when I started I really don't remember ever seeing birth photography- or at least not a lot of it. This type of photography is for sure on the newer side and to some that can be a little scary when it comes to booking a session for yourself. So, I've decided to answer some of the most frequently asked questions about the topic. But! I aspire to be a great birth and motherhood photographer!

Before I finally found my true calling I have been shooting anything and everything under the sun since January of 2020. I'm not saying I will never have photoshoots with or about anything else, but I found what I truly love the most and can see myself doing till my very last breath.


Why you might ask? I think a lot of it has to due with my own journey into motherhood. When I was pregnant I saw the beauty in maternity sessions a million times more than before. I saw how amazing a woman's body truly is.

Then when it came to my birth and I saw my very own birth pictures while holding my week old baby , it brought literal tears to my eyes for a couple reasons. One, the emotions that showed in each image was so strong and screamed out at you and two, I knew I would have all the little details saved forever.

Now that I have my little one I understand firsthand how precious every second with your littles are.
